We get asked this more often than you'd think. We'll finish up inside a house, and on the way out somebody points at the siding, or the gutters, or those green streaks running down the north side of the roof, and asks if we do that too.
We don't. We clean insides. But "no, sorry" isn't a very useful answer when somebody's standing in their driveway looking at a dirty house, so we started keeping a short list of local people we're comfortable sending our clients to. This page is that list.
How somebody gets on this list
It's short on purpose. A referral comes back around to us, so we only put a name here if we'd be fine with that truck pulling into our own driveway.
What we look for is pretty basic. They're actually local, so they're still around in six months if something needs another look. They'll come out and see the job before they quote it. They carry insurance. And they do the work themselves instead of handing it off to whoever's available.
Exterior cleaning: Kosman Pressure Washing
Kosman Pressure Washing is based right here in Pittsburg. It's veteran owned and operated, and Austin is the one who shows up.
They cover the outside of the house:
- House washing and siding
- Roof cleaning
- Gutter cleaning, and brightening the gutters themselves
- Windows, including the screens and the tracks
- Driveways, patios, sidewalks and pavers
- Decks and fences
- Commercial buildings, storefronts and parking lots
- Christmas lights, including putting them up and taking them down again
They're licensed and insured, they'll come out and look at the job for free, and they aim to get a quote back to you within a day.

Soft washing and pressure washing aren't the same thing
This is worth knowing before you call anybody, because the wrong one on the wrong surface does real damage.
Pressure washing is what it sounds like. Water at high pressure, and it's the right tool for concrete. Driveways, sidewalks, patios, that kind of thing.
Soft washing runs at low pressure and uses a cleaning solution instead. That's what you want on a roof, on siding, and on anything painted, because the solution does the work rather than the force. Kosman lists soft washing as their main method, which is the answer you're hoping to hear when somebody's talking about your shingles.
One thing worth asking about
If somebody in your house is sensitive to chemicals, or you've got pets and kids who live in the yard all summer, ask what's going on the house and where the runoff ends up. Anybody good will tell you straight. We ask the same sort of questions about every product we carry inside, so it feels fair to mention it here too.
Heating and cooling: Neisler Heating & Cooling
Neisler Heating & Cooling is a small Pittsburg business, and they're who we'd point you to for furnace and air conditioning work. They're on this list because we know them locally and we're comfortable sending our own clients their way.
They don't have a website. Call them, or send a message through their Facebook page. Ask them to look at the job before you book anything, the same as you would with anybody else on this page.

Where our work stops and theirs starts
Short version: cleaning the inside is our job, and the names above cover the parts that are not.
We handle homes, offices, rental turnovers and move-out cleans, plus the specialized odds and ends like laundry, organization, and porch and patio care. What we don't do is pressure washing, roofs, siding, gutters, or anything with a furnace in it. That's the gap Kosman and Neisler fill.
This list will grow as we find more people worth putting on it. If you've had genuinely good service from somebody local, tell us about them. We'd rather hear it from you than guess.
